Ultimate Frisbee is a fun, competitive, non-contact team sport requiring a high level of athleticism, technical skills, and strategy. Ultimate places the responsibility of fair play solely on the athletes themselves by requiring each player to know the rules and make their own calls.
Center Grove Ultimate Club (CGUC) started in 2003. CGUC is the largest, most successful ultimate frisbee club in the state of Indiana. The Club is a 501(c) not-for-profit organization funded through player fees, individual contributions, and sponsorships from community businesses. In our 20 years of existence we have won 11 Indiana State Championship titles, 5 Indiana State Championship runner-up finishes, and placed 5th and 3rd nationally in 2017 & 2018.
CGUC's participation has reached an average of 50+ players annually. CGUC’s goal in 2022-2023 season is to raise $15,000 for the following:
CGUC's long term goal is to be able to transport the entire team, via bus, to tournaments. Currently, each player is responsible to find their own transportation.

- Club operating expenses (discs, equipment, weight training, coaching and insurance)
- Uniforms (warm up hoodie, 2 game jerseys, shorts, and reversible practice tank)
- Tournament Fees (2 teams @ approximately $400 per team per tournament @ 5+ tournaments per year)
- Travel costs to out of state tournaments (lodging/food to NC, KY, IL, and OH)
- Hosting the Indiana Warm-Up Tournament on March 18-19, 2023 (Inviting high school teams throughout IN)
- Award club fee scholarships which allows students to play regardless of financial means.
- Hosting a year-end Awards Event for Coaches, Players, and Families
