FOOD prePARATION
The following are suggested food preparation techniques. Use hand sanitizer before preparing any food.
- Use apple slicer to cut apples on cutting board; discard core in plastic grocery bag
- put apple slices into container, place into other larger container filled with ice; place on table
- Use paring knife to slice oranges on cutting board: cut into quarters then half each quarter
- put orange slices into container, place into other larger container filled with ice; place on table
- Use paring knife to slice grapes on cutting board: cut in half
- place halved grape into container, place into other larger container filled with ice, place on table
- Use paring knife to slice kiwi on cutting board: cut in slices put kiwi slices into container,
- place into other larger container filled with ice; place on table
- Use paring knife to cut pickles on cutting board: cut in quarters
- place pickles slices into container,place into other larger container filled with ice; place on table
- Use paring knife to slices bananas on cutting board: cut into 2 inch pieces leaving peel on
- put bananas slices into container, place onto other container filled with ice; place on table
- Pour Pedialyte and/or pickles juice into 3 oz. cups; just a few cups on table at a time
- Place food cooler underneath food table and load with ice, uncut fruit and lunch items (meats and condiments) if applicable
- If serving lunch, reorganize table before start of scheduled lunch break and add plates, napkins, bread, condiments, meats, cheese, peanut butter w/plastic knife and fresh fruit to the food table.
