B-Team Head Coach
Description:
The B-team Head Coach is active during only the Spring. The coach is responsible for planning, facilitating, and attending Tuesday and Thursday practices for the B-team. Additionally the B-team Head Coach is to attend the B-teams three in-state tournaments, and their one out of state tournament. To begin teaching more advanced skills and team strategies building towards A-team. To solidify the team culture of having a positive attitude, working hard.

Responsibilities:
- Coach and facilitate B-team practices in the spring
- Coach and chaperone the B-team at each of their four events
Qualifications:
- Must obtain a background check with CGHS (free)
- Must obtain a background check and coaching membership with USAU (paid for)
- Must attend and pass the USAU Coaching Certification Clinic, level 1 or 2, hosted by CGUC at CGHS (paid for)
- Must pass the Heads Up Concussion Youth Sports Test (free)
- Must be in good standing with CGHS, USAU, and CGUC while encouraging good sportsmanship
- Must have experience coaching Ultimate, or other sports, and a level of understanding equal to or greater than the level of play for a competitive B level youth Ultimate team
Hours/Dates:
- Fall: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5pm from September 4th to October 26th (8 weeks)
- Spring: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3-5pm from March 6th to April 27th (8 weeks)
- 16 weeks total, 40 days scheduled, 80 hours of practice/training time
- 4 weekends for tournaments, dates vary and are in addition to the times listed above
- $1000 stipend
- One home jersey without number
- Lodging accommodations for travel tournaments
Flexibility:
- Four personal days (sick or otherwise) without penalty
- Must attend all B-team tournaments
- Must ensure assistant coach's attendance during personal days and communicate missed days to A-team head coach ahead of time
- Experience playing at a competitive club or AUDL level
- Experience teaching outside of sports
- Physical training background
- First aid training
- Experience as an assistant coach at CGUC
